I have learned of the wonderful, old-fashioned taste treat that is fruit shrubs. Drinking syrups made from vinegar, fruit, and sugar, shrubs are added to water (still or sparkling). Extremely tasty and refreshing and one thousand times better than pop/soda.
In the last month, I have made raspberry and red currant shrub. My next experiment shall be peach shrub.
