I’d love to see #freeN95s at the medical centre, rather than just the less-effective surgical masks!
Even better, I’d love the staff to be wearing even a surgical mask… (yes, they ought to be wearing N95s, but are usually maskless). Their patients deserve to be better protected from unmasked staff, especially when surgical masks are there.
GREAT NEWS: We recently worked with the city to add free KN95 masks to NYC public health vending machines. Now there's a new bill that would mail free masks & tests to New Yorkers.

The federal N95 program at pharmacies ended awhile ago. Even when it was running, it was inadequate. Supplies were limited, there was no way to look up which stores had stock, most had no mask requirements.
Everyone has a right to protect themselves from COVID-19, not just those who can afford to purchase N95 masks out of pocket.
