@shlalon I don't subscribe to that generalization, unless you mean "consistent" in "consistently lagging behind"…

In the end all the #TechIlliterates & #Normies don't care whether they use a #BSD, #Linux, #finalcutOS or Redmondian #Govware.

All they care about is getting their shit done, consume/work/play and have access to the tools they need for that.

And if all they do is #WebApps then certainly anything that runs #Firefox / #Waterfox / #TorBrowser / … will be fine...

@muhkayoh I really wish for more #CreativeSoftware to support #Linux as #finalcutOS aka. #macOS becomes more and more #enshittified like #Windows and I'd rather bite the bullet and pay for #RHEL / #SLED / #UbuntuPro #subscriptions instead of having to deal with #Apple's "my way or the highway" attitude towards Hardware (regardless of all the valid criticism towards #nvidia just to name the elephant in the room)...

Even people like #LinusTech don't actually give a shit about the underlying platforms and stuff and will rather bite the bullet and buy overpriced #macBooks with #finalcutOS aka. #macOS on them because #Windows sucks and #Editors need to be able to work with #Adobe's shit tools reliably - and they won't get than on any Windows machine...

@marcan #finalcutOS clearly runs circles when it comes to regular #CCSS from big vendors, including #Apple themselves.

Noone buys #Apple's #macOS for being a #Unix - at least boone I know if, cuz those use #brew anyway.

Instead, people buy Hardware running it because they are being forced into using #Adobe stuff and don't want to suffer from Aneurisms because #Windows sucks.
