After spending some time with the GTS flavored masto-frontend, I think I'm going to make the switch to it full time. It was nice using elk, but ultimately, I really love the ability to have multiple feeds on the same screen, or I feel like I miss important updates. Since I primarily use this account for FOSS stuff and work stuff, I have a list called "FOSS updates" and being able to see both of the feeds at once is useful. Then I have notifications on the far right, and it just feels... useful. It's also better at updating real time.

Here's the source if anyone is interested:

If someone wants to use #gotosocial but semaphore is on life support, what do you use for a webclient interface? (I know there's tons of android/ios clients, but that's not what I'm after right now) I've seen #elk mentioned but in the readme, it mentions it's in alpha. I want to be able to host a simple frontend for gotosocial, and if elk is the most maintained project, I'll do that one, but wanted to check with fedi before I spend the next hour or two upgrading the gotosocial helm chart.
