#FarhanaYamin is an environmental lawyer who, over the past three decades, has worked on a number of international treaties, including the Paris climate agreement.
She has represented small island nations threatened by the effects of global heating.
She took part in the Extinction Rebellion protests in London by gluing her hands to the floor in front of the headquarters of the Shell oil company to demand the slash of greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025.
