I passed by some #daffodils in #FairviewPark last Friday night. I'd been seeing shoots and thought that the snowdrops must be late this year before I came across some undeniable yellow flowers sticking out from the dark.

They've been arriving early the last few years but daffodils in January are a new one for me.

This year, the swan pair at Fairview Park has 7 cygnets. Again they only appeared when the youngsters were much bigger, keeping them close to nest site longer. They seem to be developing that habit after loosing multiple cygnets over the years with being only left with one on at least one occasion.
