#tbt to Explore DDD 2025 in Denver!

Our team had the pleasure of meeting Sean Collins, a core contributor to Hanami — a modern Ruby web framework focused on simplicity and maintainability.

It was great to connect with someone shaping the future of Ruby web development.

Thanks to the Explore DDD organizers for bringing together such an incredible community!

What an incredible time at Explore DDD 2025!

On April 17th, our Partner and Software Architect, Talysson Oliveira, delivered a hands-on session on applying Domain-Driven Design to the frontend — and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge thanks to the amazing Explore DDD team for hosting such a world-class event and bringing together the global community of DDD practitioners and thinkers.

After an awesome time at #ExploreDDD, I'm back home and ready to continue working on JitterTix, the example #EventSourcing app in #Java, #TDD, a tiny bit of #SpringBoot and no other libraries (well, a few small ones, but not for the EventSourcing).

I had an incredible time at #ExploreDDD the past two days. My favorite conference experience yet, in fact!

One of the speakers had attendees raise their hands to show which languages they used and it was 90%+ C# or Java.

All five of the previous conferences I'd attended were Ruby conferences (and Rails-focused, though none were Rails-specific).

Because it was language agnostic, we were able to talk at a higher level of abstraction. This is more powerful!

Code is an implementation detail.

Happy to have met Talysson and Carlos from @codeminer42 at #ExploreDDD! We talked about Ruby and DDD, and, naturally, @hanami 🌸

Nivia Henry’s Career Resilience Starter Kit!

Brand: how you show up does create a brand, and it’s important to be intentional, because if you aren’t, others will build it for you …

Love this, because it’s the kind of thing that can be awkward to talk about, but Nivia makes it so natural!
