Ooh I don't know enough about straightedge-and-compass constructions, or analyzing the number of steps needed, to say whether making any integer taking O(log n) steps is new and correct, but looks interesting. Interesting video about modern architecture.
But there is one thing. They say that the architecture of the Guggenheim Bilbao was not based on Euclidian Geometry because it didn’t use straight lines, square angles and flat surfaces.
I don’t question that building this is difficult, but it’s still Euclidian Geometry. Am I wrong? It’s been a while but I thought I knew.
