This is one of the most profound things I've ever come to realise. To love people is to essentially love humanity and life, including oneself. It isn't something you chase nor seek to manifest in people or things, you create and find it in the appreciation of all there is around you and all that we are. Life is as messy as it is beautiful and we can find love anywhere and everywhere. Don't let the noise and doubt of the world make you forget that!

Wie dem auch sei, sehr fruchtbar ist auch Erich Fromm, mit seinem Gedanken der Fluchtmechanismen vor der Freiheit: Flucht ins Destruktive, Flucht ins Autoritäre und Flucht in den Konformismus.

Bin gerade in DD-Neustadt und die Freundin in deren WG ich wohne, hat von Ihnen, verehrte Frau Mateur, so herzlich gesprochen: mit einem ihrer Enkel war sie letztes Jahr in Kannawoniwasein! und ist noch heute begeistert (begeisterter als der Enkel😉).
Aber zu Erich Fromm: seine Menschenzugewandtheit fehlt heute. Seine Bücher wie 'Haben oder Sein', 'Furcht vor der Freiheit' (im Original übrigens, treffender, 'Escape from Freedom') oder die 'Anatomie menschlicher Destruktivität' sind heute noch gültig, können helfen auch die Zustände heute besser zu durchdringen.
