The latest work by @thepudding reminded me of graphics I made in 2017 to promote a study on the readers of erotic novels, at @MPI_ae. The lead author had been given a few pointers by an editor of this genre about the trend in cover design at the time: "A combination of script and geometric type, with flowers, in a dark pink-purple colour palette." So I got me some Bank Gothic, a little Snell Roundhand and a few roses and went to town...
