Getting my head around using gpiod to access GPIO api's on Linux. I'm used to RPi.GPIO but have been messing around with other boards and learning gpiod is probably a good idea.

Stuff like this makes me appreciate RPi's documentation. I've found gpiod code examples but documentation is no where near RPi's quality.
