It's such a shame, and waste, that it's not easier to install some "generic tablet OS" on tablets that are EOL, regardless of if it's a Samsung, Lenovo, or whatever tablet.

Yes, I know there are "distributions" out there and instructions on how to "root"; but it's often very specific to models, brands, etc.

The amount of fully functional hardware being discarded / thrown away is staggering 🙄
