I've been thinking of building a platform for my eDrum kit so that less noise goes into my apartment floor. I want something that I can take apart or fold up easily so that I can store it when not in use.

I've spent the past week or two looking at different hinges and contemplating how they'd stay open, then this morning I had an epiphany: I can just do a few separate, disconnected sections placed next to each other.
