I still find it hard to believe that as the editor of Pragmatics & Society, i get to read so much new original research on a weekly basis. The sheer volume of it.
I’ve never been the academic who truly keeps up with the literature - I’ve read things for specific research project, but not generally new issues of every relevant journal. Well, this sure has changed now! 😀
