What an experience to return to the Curonian Spit, only this time as a tutor, and being able to build upon and teach from the research I have done here almost exactly a year ago as an artist in residence. I'm feeling very grateful for the new and recurring encounters. Revisiting this environment and seeing it through so many different perspectives was very special.

Course participants develop site-responsive observational skills, linking physical engagement with reflective thought. The course follows a phenomenological approach, fostering direct interaction with the environment and openness to accidental discoveries. Activities include sensory exercises, fieldwork, prototyping, interaction with human and non-human inhabitants, documentation, readings and discussions.
