@Ruhrnalist ich habe auch #dsnote verwendet musste allerdings feststellen das die ios app notizen kaputtmacht: es bleibt beim editieren nur die headline übrig. Google suche zeigt das problem ist alt und wird nicht gefixt.

@funkvolk Ich habe eine NAS und versuche es gerade mit #dsnote, wodurch ich den gespeicherten Content dann selber hoste. Ist noch ein wenig sperrig, aber grundsätzlich funktioniert es, auf Handy oder PC Artikel oder sonst. HTML damit zu speichern und zu verschlagworten oder in Ordner zu sortieren.

@apps I was wondering if a local translation, as in #firefox, would be a solution. It seems that the #bergamot translation tool can be used be other apps too. #dsnote (https://github.com/mkiol/dsnote) uses it for example.

Today I took a look at how things stand with projects like ParaCrawl (https://paracrawl.eu/index.php) and Bergamot (https://browser.mt/). Both are important for us as users to have local translation tools for use in the browser or other applications, like Office or Speech Note dsnote (https://github.com/mkiol/dsnote). ParaCrawl, as I understand it, is the data foundation for Bergamot. The European Union funds both projects. That in itself is a good thing. But as it looks, it was unfortunately again only short funding phases of three years, so I do not assume that there is still much manpower behind the projects. However, that would be desirable. Are there any actors from these projects active in the Fediverse?
