@fgbjr Thanks for the tip. Will try this.
Currently using "liquid bandage" (液体絆創膏) to keep split finger tips from forming crevasses, but need to grit teeth (to muffle expletives) as the solvents in the adhesive hit the wound.

Finger stalls (rubber finger covers sold in stationery stores) are good for dry & split finger tips. They reduce pain immediately, keep the skin hydrated, and hold the wound closed enough to heal, as a bandaid would do.
