When I was younger, I got into engineering and neuroscience because I wanted to build AGI. I realized the lifespan of the human race was limited and wanted to leave something conscious behind. It felt urgent. It felt like that was what I born to do.

As I got older I realized it wasn't going to happen. AI took a wildly different direction with the advent of LLMs and the world started falling apart faster than anticipated.

I decided to write poetry instead. (1/4)
