Discord says that the data breach wasn’t “Discord”, but rather a breach of their third-party partner. They continued to state that “privacy and security is a top priority”.

Clearly not, or the personal information never would’ve been collected in the first place, and you sure as hell wouldn’t entrust that responsibility to a third party.

About 70,000 users affected.
