It’s a *deeply* flawed piece.
The Digital Poverty Alliance released the updated National Delivery Plan on 4th June 2024.
The National Delivery Plan is based around 6 missions to end #digitalpoverty by 2030 and sets out both short-term and long-term actions for Government, industry and the third sector to tackle digital poverty. This update charts the progress that has been made since the first plan was released, and curates a roadmap for the future.

Whilst it’s depressingly unsurprising that the government has failed to act on the findings from several years ago on the impact of digital poverty, there are some shocking stats in this report.

While the #UK falls below any acceptable standards, the #EU implements today the #DSA.
A frame against digital platform abuse. By Feb17th2023 every platform must:
1) Be transparent in numbers (report amounts of active users -become Very Large Platforms)
2) Comply and Explain (including content moderation and risks)
3) Easy flag illegal content and effects
4) Digital Service Coordinators to ensure rule compliance (and fines, if they don't!)
