@surabax others such as commercial hardware accelerated OpenGL drivers for Xfree86, by XiG Graphics, out of business it seems with ftp down. They made hardware accelerated drivers for Wildcat 6210,6220, 7210, 7220 cards, by Intense3D, later by Intergraph, finally 3Dlabs which also made the Oxygen cards, VP900 series and so on.
