I was not in the Forum at the time.

I have high hopes my new friends from Defcon will have the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the weekend at event.

In the meantime, 13h until wheels up for my trip to Berlin for #CCCamp23.

Things I Wish I Knew Before #Defcon31 But [insert legitimate excuse here]:

Backpack, not laptop bag.

You cannot consume enough water in a 100°F/40°C desert.

The most comf shoes mean nil when you’re walking 6+mi/10+km per day and you’re not used to it.

Stay on site. Vegas is megalithic, the strip moreso. Staying two hotels away is a long trek with all the winding and weaving pathways.

And of course #DefconIsCancelled.
