Whispers of the deep book 1 is still my favorite, here’s a drawing I quickly sketched of Mira and Arges.
Of course this series is great for spicy romance and the slow burn but it’s also so fantasy, post apocalypse steam punk like. I know Emma Hamm has disclosed often of its lack of scientific accuracy but regardless she’s a great writer and story teller and her world building is what carries the romance and characters so well throughout.
