@mchesner if you’re talking about the purple berries in the photo - that’s from a plant called Poke Weed. I’m inundated here in #danbury with it. The birds love it! But it’s super toxic for mammals. While pretty, the berries will also stain. Removing the stalks can cause a bad rash so cover up if you are doing it.

After yesterday’s stealth campers, here’s a camper van that is much more overt in advertising its purpose. But don’t be fooled by the 1970s vibe given off by this conversion from the British firm Danbury - the Volkswagen T2 base vehicle is a much newer import from Brazil, where the type was produced until 2013. Among the giveaways; the radiator grille and the ridge on the door pressings. Local car park snap.

They also volunteers for their Rapid Response group to respond to reports of ICE activity. Rapid Response is primarily there to document & record interactions. Get names, badge numbers, plates, info on where detained individuals are being taken, etc, so the case can be followed up on
