Continuing to drink down this slightly vintage (2023) green tea from Bitterleaf Teas. "Hulk" is a one bud, one leaf, early spring Simao Yunnan tea rolled in "snail" shape. Easy drinking.
Yunnan (Simao) First Flush green tea from Bitterleaf Tea. According to Bitterleaf, this is a classic green Yunnan tea, the sort you might want to thermos or Grandpa brew to get you through your day. Mild flavor, slight astringency, pleasant lingering scent.
After brewing so much Chinese tea in this Japanese Kyusu, figured I should give some Japanese tea a try. Savory and umami elements dominate this Aya-Me Kabuse shincha from Kettl Teas, some nuttiness and salinity. Nice color!
