Nice set by #DogRace before a sprint to catch my train home. Copped out a bit with a backing track (boo!) but intense and spiky nevertheless.
Two more quick acts at #D2Dfest.
#Immy, playing funky jazz, which I caught by accident but was good fun and very talented, and #Armlock from Melbourne (?) who were a bit doomy but seemed like nice folk.
Now for some more #ShoutyBlokesWithGuitars before heading home.
An artier photo for this lot - #Muncle - a shouty four-piece who weren’t doing anyone any harm and were up my street. First time at #MrWolfs, which seemed like a tidy little venue.
Very much enjoying #TTSSFU - great act, lousy name. Lovely sumptuous shoegazing, and they all look like they’re having a thoroughly good time of it.
Less enamoured with #SexMask, my third band of the day. Solid enough guitar licks, but they lack much charm or self-awareness.
Depressing as well to see that the majority of bands on #TheFleece’s listings these days are tribute acts. ☹️
Up and running at #d2dfest, with a letterbox-sized view of #TheNewCut in a very crowded #Thekla. A good start to the day! 🎸
