First up local boys #Shale playing a banging set before #TheGuestList stride confidently on. The cynic in me says they’re a Temu version of Fontaines DC but the young crowd loved it and who am I to argue.
Gentle final day at #WalesGoesPop with a fine set from #Ynys and a first chance to see #Radhika. Ducked out early because most of the rest of the bill today seemed to be auld bastards rather than anything especially new. As always though, grateful to have an Easter music festival to fill what can otherwise be quite a long and aimless weekend.
Some excellent acts at #WalesGoesPop this afternoon / evening. Particular props for #LandeHekt and #Sassyhiya, which were my personal highlights.

Some excellent #ShoutyBlokesWithGuitars action in #Newport / #Casnewydd tonight. Nice to visit The Pit, my first time there. Great support from youngsters #FlatCat and the very talented #MilkInCrisis (good band, terrible name); and an excellent first headline set by local lads #Maeve.
Cracking gig at Clwb tonight, with the mighty #WavePictures smashing it. Liked the new material, and even my truculent teenager came away with a smile on his face.
