#MaggieQ is starring in a new TV cop series on #Prime called #Ballard in which she plays an ostracized LA Police detective who is put in charge of a cold case unit.

Maggie is 1 of 2 major media Asian female action heroes. The other one is #MichelleYeoh

Maggie is cast in type as the iconoclastic, act first/think later, shoot first/ID later character who always fails to cover her "six" & enters crime scenes & engages with "bad guys" without back up, who often needs to get "saved" from herself, just like she was cast/depicted in #Nikita in which she plays a #BlackOps assassin/operative w/a heart of gold (that I'm binge watching now) & #DesignatedSurvivor (that I've binge watched before) in which she plays a #FBI & #CIA operative.

There's also an apparent tie in with #Bosch, another Prime cop show that I've never watched before.

Just started watching the show, so I don't have an opinion about it yet,, except to say that Maggie is still looking good at 46 -- it's genetic. 😉
