trying to compose, with what I call a "seed", these days. Basically I just pick 4-5 notes that fit well together (arranged in a defined order; in 1 bar) and use them for soundtracks (in a game for example).

In other words this is kinda like a motif and is supposed to help you make soundtracks that fit together.
