“I can’t see anything. This #comet is nonsense.” says @kattekrab as I take this photo. #cometc2024g3
About the best I can do with my kit. #AstroPhotography #CometC2024G3
Quite a bit of detail in that #comet image I took a few rights ago 👆 I was able to extract with Siril. #CometC2024G3 #C2024G3 #Astrophotography
Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) from Semaphore South Australia, on Kaurna land, last night Monday 20 January. These are Night Mode time exposures taken with an iPhone 14 Pro and a tripod between 9:30 and 10 pm. The comet could also be seen with the naked eye, but not as easily as in the photos. Hopefully it will still visible from the Southern Hemisphere for a few more nights. #Comet #CometATLAS #cometc2024g3 #astrophotography #shotoniphone14pro #alwayswasalwayswillbe
Managed to catch Comet ATLAS fortuitously through the only tiny gap in-between trees as seen from my balcony here in Melbourne. Pretty ancient Nikon D90, f/5 4”. 21:37 AEDT (58 mins past sunset) 6° above horizon, just about to enter cloud. #comet #cometc2024g3
