Don’t let the EPA weaken coal ...
#EPA extended the public comment deadline on a rule that would weaken oversight of toxic #coalAsh waste. All comments must be submitted on or before Monday, June 29, 2026.
If finalized, this rule could allow coal plant operators to avoid stronger cleanup requirements, leave leaking coal ash sites in place, and give polluters more room to contaminate groundwater near communities.
