OILAM USSEAM TREBARUNE

Classicstober: 10. Asklepios (It’s totally fine and normal to show up over a week late to a challenge) I really wanted to do this challenge, but my attention has been so scattered by work and famil…

A late addition to #Kinktober: a blindfolded Helen of Sparta elopes with Paris, getting it on in the wagon to the ships:

Kinktober 2023

I am once again attempting 31 Kinktober shorts. This time combined with ClassicsTober prompts for an extra challenge.

Erotic Mythology

@Minimus

I don’t blame Minimus one little bit! Stay safe & warm & dry, curled up in your little mus nest!

#ClassicsTober23 couldn’t end any other way: Minima in another standout performance as a goddess in full flight. She’s been on fire all month, so it’s doubly appropriate that the last scene (on Halloween 😱) should feature the flames of Hecate!

Another brilliant staging, and I love the black dogs (which look suitably ears-back terrified) and Hecate’s midnight gown!

😱😱😱😱😱

31 Hecate, dea artis magicae et triviorum, (the goddess of witchcraft and crossroads), is ready for an evening of magic and umbrae (ghosts) with her faces ardentes (blazing torches), canes atri (black dogs) and mustela (weasel).
#ClassicsTober23 #MinimusLatin
30 Tiresias, vates caecus (the blind seer), potest vaticinari (can foretell the future) even after his death. Odysseus has come to Tartarus (the Underworld), offering sanguis ovis (sheep's blood) to persuade the umbra (ghost) to advise him.
#ClassicsTober23 #MinimusLatin
#ClassicsTober23 29: 🗡️Nemesis🫵
29 Nemesis, dea iustitiae (goddess of justice) and ultrix impiorum facinorum (avenger of wicked deeds), finds Narcissus on her index scelestorum (list of wicked men) for his cruelty to Echo. His punishment is to love his imago (reflection) in the stagnum (pond).

#ClassicsTober23 28: 🌌Nyx🌟
28 Nyx, dea noctis (goddess of the night) is ready to fly trans caelum (across the sky) with her equus et currus atri (black horse and chariot), but first she needs to protect her son Hypnos (Sleep) from Zeus. Even rex deorum (the king of the gods) fears Nyx!

#ClassicsTober23 28: Nyx

The goddess of the night in all her shadowy glory as depicted by Gustave Moreau. It is said by Homer than even Zeus fears to upset this primordial divinity who rules the darkest of times.
