SciSys/Saitek Stratos... Batteries were left in it so the compartment got destroyed, but the internals are alive, except for some peeling soldermask. When I plug it into 9V, it does work. Also, it came without pieces, but that is no big deal.

It was a cheap one, mostly sold by aldi in germany, it is a karpov #schachcomputer.
Normally i would not say anything about this one, but this one show a problem i'm seeing to often.
IHATE batteries! So often they are leaking ....
And often they destroy the system - #deathbyvarta ....
Ok, this time it is another company, but varta makes lots of Motherboard batteries ....
Today i got the #chesscomputer Kishon Chesster.
It is a chesscomputer with a speak synthesiser with the voice of #EphraimKishon .
