Just went to see The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act in theatre wearing my Kinger Inlay Jacket.

I really liked the last episode and the special little flourishes were quite fun. If you can watch it in a theatre I recommend going to see it.

My Kinger inlay is now fully sewn onto my jacket. Working inside the pocket to sew the sides of the inlay down took a lot of time and some experimentation to figure out how to accomplish it. While the inlay isn't straight it still looks quite good and is clearly Kinger shaped so I am happy with the outcome of my first sewing project.

After a few failed attempts at sewing the Kinger inlay onto the jacket I decided to widen my wire hanger and attatch it with safety pins at each corner.

So far the changes have been working out, though the rings I have sewn are further appart than I would prefer.

In order to attach the inlay to the jacket I am finally learning how to sew.

For practice I used the cut off arm of the jean jacket and the unused sample head I made for my Phoenix Wright inlay.

For this inlay I think that the look of the weave stretched by gravity suits it best.

In order to keep that look when I sew it onto the jacket I made a wire hangar for the weave and pinned it to the jacket so I can let gravity keep the weave where I want it.

Phase 2 is taking the Kinger inlay, treating it as a patch and sewing it onto a jean vest.

I plan to take this as a long term project adding more inlay 'patches', other chainmaille and more to create a battle jacket.
