Another highlight of this #birding trip was the abundance of #gulls - my new passion when it comes to identifying birds. While I am quite confident to have IDed Caspian Gulls (Larus cachinnans) when they were sitting, I am not so sure about these flying fellows, but I assume them to be Caspian Gull as well.
Also sitting at the puddle were Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahelis) and Mew Gull (Larus canus)

A couple of hours at Tanholt, Cambs this morning with @jrmjones eventually produced three 1w Caspian gulls (would have eluded me) on north pit. Was hoping for a white-winger during the cold snap but there seems to be a national shortage of them currently #birds #ukbirds #ukrarebirds #caspiangull
