Organic Rye Whisky In Ex Malbec Cask
This ex malbec cask has been filled with our organic rye new make. The rye spirit was created from 51% malted rye and 49% malted barley fermented on a mead yeast for 14 days before being distilled through a whisky hood and 4 plate column. We expect to bottle this cask at 6 years in 2029.
There are only 34/160 shares left in this cask.
It is a single malt made from Golden Promise Barley maturing in first fill a ex-bourbon cask.

Golden Promise Single Malt in Ex-Bourbon
Circumstance distillery doesn't usually produce single malt whisky, preferring multi-grain mash bills instead. This is a rare opportunity to get hold of a Circumstance Distillery single malt. It was made from 100% malted Golden Promise malted barley. It was fermented for 14 days on a saison brewing yeast and is maturing in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask. We predict it will be ready for bottle in 2028.
