TywèleI’m using my iPhone without a case and I managed to drop it for the first time today on a stone ground. It took it pretty well and got away with some minor scratches to the metal frame on the right side and nothing else even though it landed face first on the ground. The display is still flawless, that new Ceramic Shield glass is really great. I’m still annoyed it happened to me because I still don’t understand how it just fell out of my hand when I grabbed it from the table.

Several examples stand out in my mind, but the most significant and unique rimfire rifle I have ever handled would have to be the Daisy VL firing caseless .22-caliber ammunition.

And yes, it is the exact same model, color, and capacity I already had. Why? It was meant to be my new phone to let my wife take my old phone. Instead, I jumped directly to giving her the new phone in my old case.

Four days since I’ve decided to go completely #caseless with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Last time I lasted this long was waaaaaay back with the iPhone 4. I did though add a dBrand skin (Area 51 in yellow) on the phone’s back to add a little grip.
I always loved the feel of a naked phone but was always scared of damage coming from drop.
So here I am. Let’s see how long I last. 😅

The point is Apple is trying its best to use premium materials (titanium) to make the device lighter and thinner. Meanwhile, we simply put a case on it.

Piolaq@dansup Cases are weird. I know it offers protection and sometimes it adds function. But you pay a huge amount for a nicely styled thin and sleek device and than you slap on a big fat ugly case. Only to protect your device from beinf scratched and damged. But if you never take the case off, who's going to care that it is in perfect condition? Not you, because you'll never see it. Maybe the person who buys it from you? Pointless, go #caseless
