I'm having a great time at #Capricon44 with my sweetheart. Fun and interesting panels, nice conversations with people I've met, both old friends and new, and I've enjoyed all my visits to Chicago since my first, at WorldCon 80 / ChiCon 8. Plus it's fun that @skiffyandfanty has so much representation here! @shaunduke @Princejvstin

I’m reading twice today at #Capricon44. At 2:30 with KM Herkes and Jeana Jourgensen, and 8:30 with Catherine Lundoff. (Both will be smutty! 😎) I’m staying in my room this morning, though, to get some writing done.

Today at #Capricon44 at the LGBTQIA+ meetup (where nearly everyone identified as bi, which was cool), we ended up making a rec list of queer books, webcomics, and other media that people have recently enjoyed, and now I'm going to post them. :-)

Day 1 of #Chicago and #Capricon44! Made a visit to the Bean construction zone with Michael and Sherry en route to the Art Institute. Had a jolly time looking at art, then back to the hotel for my All the GOHs panel, where Tempest, Victor, Ariela and I had lively discussions about AI and our work. Went to Vermillion (my favorite Chicago restaurant!) for an amazing dinner, then back for Opening Ceremonies. Sam and the Con Com gave us delightful gift bags and I got a cool Capricon statue in mine!
