Did some candle work today. I usually carve Elder Futhark runes and use a charcoal oil mix for the black lettering.
I light these candles when I’m calling the assistants, energy, power or audience of the pagan gods and goddesses I work with or my ancestors.

I get my candles from thrift shops mostly. I know I’m taking a chance not knowing what wax is being burned but it’s more cost efficient and sustainable for me now than other options.

Magic can be so simple. I've started using sharpie markers on my Shabbat candles for my magic. These candles, as well, could still be dressed with oils and herbs! May you receive wide berth from toxic people today!
