I don't have much interest in college football (except to see how the #CalBears are doing, which usually isn't all that great) but ex-Cal QB Mendoza's stock just went way up as the #1 draft pick for 2026 after Indian beat Miami in the college "championship" game 27-21 & after he was named the MVP of the game.
Looks like he made a really good choice transferring from Cal to Indiana. 😉

The #Steelers (10-5) are only behind 7-6 at the half in their #AFC #Wildcard game vs the #Texans (12-5) and, while I really don't care which team wins, I'm kinda rooting for the Steelers only because #AaronRogers is their quarterback (QB) and because he was the QB for the #CalBears (my alma mater) back in the back day LONG after I graduated from #Cal, even though I roll my eyes when I hear about his anti-vax & his #MAGA leaning rhetoric because I'm a pro football fan & Rogers has been a great NFL QB & almost certainly will be elected to the HOF after he retires.

The game didn't mean anything, except for bragging rights, but after going up 21-0 vs #Hawaii in the #SheratonHawaiiBowl in Honolulu, the Cal Bears blew the lead & Hawaii came back to beat the Bears 31-35 with a TD with only 10 secs left in the game.
Oh well . .
At Least the Bears made a bowl game & ended the season with a 7-6 winning record even with this loss SKP will be coming back next year to lead the team again.

I could think of a lot of less desirable places to play a meaningless football game. LOL!!! 😉
If it happens, the odds are against Cal (7-5) vs #Hawaii (8-4) because Cal lost to #SanDiegoState & #Stanford & Hawaii beat both of them.
But, who cares??? If there's time, before or after the game, just hang out on Waikiki Beach & enjoy the view & I'm not talking about the waves. 😊
