Yes.

The #Yandex and #Metager search engine is foss, iwrc, so please get started, #techLayoffs folk.

:)

BTW in the meantime the CloudFlare-free search engine, #Ombrelo, that puts all sites that are cf'd at the bottom of the page with a red strikethrough, does a surpisingly good job of removing chaff. Litetally just by purging cf with '#CFDomains'.

@eric
Thanks for that suggestion to use the Qt website, Eric.

According to #cfdomains, the qt.io domain is CloudFlare. We want to report to a dev, not CloudFlare.

Thanks for that effort, anyway. Much appreciated.

Thanks for making a point of this.

We are annoyed that #CloudFlare are trying to #reCentralise any part of #Fediverse.

When we talk to people about having a nuanced approach to #NoFediMetaFebruary, this is the kind of thing we're talking about.

Fediverse instances may want to make a stand here. Block CloudFlare servers for two hours starting at GMT 16:00, for example.

See '#cfDomains' of #deCloudFlare git repo for some helpful tools to fight CloudFlare.

Your suspicions were intuitively correct!

A quick test found that #mlsendDotCom is blocked by #uBlock.

A #lookUp via #cFDomains reveals that the domain is CloudFlare!

Well done, for not feeding that monster. :)

We are not experts in this area and we realize this is not a proper learningResource but DeCloudflare have a little piece of #commandLine software called #cfDomains, which operates in #nodeJS.

It does a few interesting things, such as provides an about page, with coloured text, downloads a file from a server that the user asked for. Eg. --dl d # downloads a list of all Cloudflare'd domain names starting with 'd'.

So it might serve as a nice #boilerplate to supplement your reading.
