for the visibility of my art, the fediverse was and is a stroke of luck. and not only that: there hasn't been a single negative experience with reactions, comments etc. and that seems to be a real "unique selling point" of mastodon (i can only speak for my home country mastodon.art) and the way moderation should work. it works. Thank you all for that!
