Agi: Mourinho: "Io al Real Madrid? Parlo solo del Benfica"

AGI - Lo scorso 1 marzo disse che era pronto a rispettare il contratto, a restare alla guida del Benfica e, se il club avesse voluto, firmare un rinnovo biennale. Adesso José Mourinho prende tempo e, assicura, non perché potrebbe esserci il Real Madrid o un'altra società di mezzo, ma solo per concentrarsi sulle "Aquile".
"Il primo marzo non è oggi - ha detto ieri dopo il 2-2 casalingo con il Braga che complica la corsa al secondo posto -. Le ultime due settimane di campionato non sono fatte per pensare al futuro e ai contratti. Sono fatte per pensare alla missione che ci eravamo prefissati, ovvero compiere il miracolo di arrivare secondi. Già da settimane ho deciso che non volevo ascoltare nessuno, per isolarmi nel mio spazio di lavoro. Sabato c'è la partita contro l'Estoril, penso che da lunedì in poi potrò rispondere alle domande sul mio futuro come allenatore e sul Benfica".
Il pareggio con il Braga e la classifica
Il pareggio di ieri con il Braga alla penultima di campionato, costa il -2 rispetto allo Sporting per la squadra di Mou che adesso vede il secondo posto, e quindi la Champions, più lontani, ma per il tecnico portoghese non sarà questo a determinare il suo futuro. "Voi parlate del Real Madrid, io no, parlo del Benfica, e non è arrivare secondi o terzi che influenzerà il mio futuro. Ovviamente, il Benfica vuole giocare in Champions, anch'io come allenatore, ma non ha alcuna influenza sulla mia decisione. Io non mi nascondo - prosegue Mourinho -, ma nessuno deve costringermi a decidere, tanto meno a comunicare le decisioni, perché sono io che decido i tempi. Nella mia mente c'è solo una cosa: lavorare e dare il massimo e non smetterò fino alla partita contro l'Estoril. Questo è il rispetto che il Benfica e la mia professione meritano. Ho il diritto di rimanere isolato. Continuo a dire che non ho parlato con il Real e con nessun altro club".
