Anyone #botdevs who are experienced with #markovbot (specifically this model: https://github.com/Kurokonomiyaki/mastobot-markov#how-to-use-the-bot-once-deployed) know how to get it to actually collect tweets from the source instance? I keep tweaking the settings.json file and checking the source id, and it still doesn't collect any toots. #bothelp #techhelp #question #mastobot

Hi all - I have my code ready for my serendipitous oulipo haiku bot and am not sure on the best place to run the code (server-wise).

Is there an option (not Google Scripts) that anyone would recommend? I have it set up on @oulipohaiku, but would like it to toot without my computer in the loop.

I am new to this - so help is appreciated.

Talk of #PublicDomain puts me in mind of a bot I have wanted to create ever since my #MastodonMigration — but I would need some #BotHelp. I see bots tooting novels in sequence & I think toots are an amenable format for the 1914 experimental prose poem by #GertrudeStein Tender Buttons: Objects Food Rooms. In the past year I answered a prompt to share a #FoundationalText & Tender Buttons is one for me. I encountered it shortly before I began a lifetime of #AbstractPainting.
