I love this trend. Colin Newman of WIRE turned me on to some cool NYC band called SUSS that does “#ambient country” #music — lots of reverb, very moody. I retch at even the thought of country music but could listen to SUSS all day and night.
All of this stuff is future soundtrack music for sure. Love it.
