Letzte Woche wurde bei mir ein #VPS frei, da mein Chef überzeugt wurde, dass wir die Probe-Instanz von #BookStackApp als interne Knowledge Base für unseren Support nutzen und InHouse installieren.

Den leeren VPS dann mal platt gemacht, #Immich drauf installiert, ca. 15GB Bilder (ohne manuelle tags, ohne Geotags) drauf geworfen. Und... Wow! Mit 2Cores/2GB eig. viel zu klein, aber läuft erstaunlich fluffig, die Suche ist erste Sahne. Was da erkannt wird... Unglaublich! Einen zweiten Blick wert!

Markdown in #BookStackApp is too limited, I think I should stick to WYSIWYG instead moving forward. Some features I'm missing with just Markdown:

Shout out for @danb, and #bookstackapp. Kudos for an exceptionally well organized and documented #opensource #cms #wiki project.

The "good bones" are palpable from bottom to top. In the philosophy of what money won't buy, how sponsorship funds are gathered and reported on, and extends through to the community shepherding/gardening. Above all, emblematic of preceding, the documentation is excellent.

I've bounced off Bookstack many times ('cause php). Am happy to have challenged that prejudice.
