Just had a wild and unexpected conversation with a senior editor/VP from Carpenter Media.

My letter to the editor worried about Canadian newspapers being owned by a US company that is willing to edit copy without reporter-consent after political pressure.

She offered a (tepid) explanation and why my letter would not be published as is! INCREDIBLE.

Full recollection of conversation on my blog!

"But American Fascism Shall Never Die!"- a 1946 editorial cartoon for Cleveland Call & Post newspaper by prolific but underrecognized African-American painter, illustrator & comic book artist Robert Savon Pious.
