"Why do you follow a religion that was imposed on your ancestors by slave owners?"

The more I hear these conversations between white atheists and African-Americans, the more I think we should leave these discussions to Black atheists.

Non-Black atheists aren't already familiar enough with the nuances, nor with African-American communities to have a productive discussion. More importantly, most of the issues here don't affect us. It's not our business.
