This Tuesday will be my first biHRTday. My first whole year on estrogen.
It's been so wonderful and I can't for the life of me understand why I was so scared of it and kept insisting even after admitting that I was trans that I would never ever take hormones.
Well, at least I got there eventually and now I get to be once more an annoying teenager with puberty mood swings.

I just wanted to openly acknowledge that this idea wouldn't work for everyone, as not everyone had a single egg-cracking / eureka moment, plus the date is very fuzzy for many of us.

What if we in the wider trans community started celebrating the day we finally accepted / realised we were trans, sort of like a rebirth-day or an awakening day?
I know many of us already celebrate our own HRT anniversary (biHRTday), but it could be cool to normalise a non-HRT one for those in the community who don't want HRT.
