I've made an offer to a seller on Tradera (local ebay equivalent) for an item that didn't sell, they counter-offered, I refused, they put it back on sale, failed to sell it again.
So I sent the same offer as the first time. They replied with a higher offer than a) their first offer and b) the price they started the auction at.
Ah well, I shouldn't buy it anyway.
